At the Hamburg travel fair, we stopped in front of a huge screen showing wooden cabins in a picturesque landscape. The operator of that stand was Norcab.
During a viewing weekend, Johanna from Norcab, Henning from ABEA, and Bernhard from Nesfjellet welcomed us at the show home. We chose plot 122 and decided on the cabin model Endeli 76.
To lay the water pipes below the frost line, they had to go two metres underground.
The outer formwork of the foundation is aligned on the plot according to the plan.
Once all cables and pipes are in place, the concrete can be poured. The pipes on the right mark the bathroom, while the pipes on the left indicate the position of the utility room, the toilet, and the kitchen.
On a snowy Friday in January, all prefabricated components were delivered and assembled.
From the outside, it already looks almost finished.
Now the work continues on the inside.
The way up to the upper floor is via a ladder.
This is where the bedroom with the double bed is taking shape.
The flooring has already been delivered.
First, the impact sound insulation has to be laid.
The living room is already finished.
While the fireplace has already been installed, the kitchen is still missing.
The tiles in the bathroom have been laid.
